Hey, I'm Dr. O — the Growth Coach!
I am a Career and Leadership Coach with over 18 Years of hands-on experience. I help fellow stuck individuals, women, BIPOC racial minorities, and those from systemically marginalized groups overcome business blocks, navigate non-inclusive work cultures, and reframe their professional brand so that it matches their inner light.
My journey, like yours, is wide and vast. I have gone from the public sector, working both at the local and state levels to the private sector in Fortune 500 $80 billion + companies, holding roles of graduating responsibility in internal communications, employee engagement/development, and diversity, equity and inclusion.

In the end, each of these rich leadership — and diverse development — experiences were all strung together by a series of hopes, wishes, and desires for each environment — to inspire those served to greatness.

It is here that I learned how to own my truth, play to my strengths, and the power of intent to realize my goals. I learned that all my team members, clients, and workforces can find a way to integrate collaborative, supportive, and engaging communication techniques to better serve a larger picture where WE all win.
After receiving my masters at George Mason University, I served past Virginia Governor Tim M. Kaine as a policy and communications analyst for the Virginia Department of Fire Programs. During this career stop, I toured the state’s dynamic fire departments with a team of thought leaders to provide business process consulting (basically, advising on optimizing business processes opportunities and human resources).
The firsthand experience gained here, coupled with previous learning helped me to launch my career as a skilled communicator and effective change agent within corporations. Daily, I help individuals, teams, and leaders tap their enormous potential.
